Resto lì a guardare…“
È proprio vero che la poesia anticipa la visione di cose che la scienza scoprirà.
Chissà se Tosca, cantando “Ho amato tutto” intuiva di avere previsto ciò che di lì a poco sarebbe accaduto all’umanità.
Milioni di persone, o forse qualche miliardo sulla terra, avrebbero vissuto quella sensazione di strano scoramento.
Lei – con la purezza di poche note – l’aveva già raccontata.
L’avvicinarsi alla finestra ed avvertire il più assordante tra i silenzi: quello dell’anima.
Ispezionare con lo sguardo il cielo per coglierne un presagio di futuro e ricevere, da quella immensità, un terso ma infinito dubbio.
Sentirsi circondati da un nemico in apparenza (e solo in apparenza) lontano ma invisibile e feroce.
Un cielo che si fa muto e lo sguardo attonito di una umanità smarrita in un incomprensibile dolore.
Un caos calmo, come lo aveva descritto un altro geniale narratore del nostro tempo.
La sensazione di precipitare – da fermi – in un vortice verso il basso senza mai cadere definitivamente e un mondo che, attorno a noi, diventa sempre meno comprensibile.
È vero, però, che il caos ha generato nuove dinamiche e nuova vita.
Ce lo insegna l’Universo con le sue segrete leggi che nascondono l’onnipotente ed attento sguardo di un Dio.
Ed allora cosa resta all’uomo nel suo disorientamento?
Resta la possibilità di “sentire” che nuove primavere verranno e cancelleranno il gelo e la paura della morte.
“You must believe in spring“, occorre avere fede in nuove primavere e nella possibilità di viaggiare, ancora, nell’avvolgente profumo della vita.
Devi credere nella primavera, titolava uno dei più struggenti pezzi mai scritti in musica da Bill Evans.
E più forte era il dolore per la morte dei suoi cari, per il male di vivere e per l’inarrestabile sfortuna, ebbene, più alta era la bellezza di quell’armonia che superava ogni troposfera.
Dobbiamo credere nella primavera e non solo in quella di una mite e carezzevole brezza increspante le onde del mare o inebriante l’olfatto con effluvi di fresie colorate.
La fede che ispira il nuovo tempo in cui credere è permeata dalla rinata consapevolezza di se stessi e dell’importanza dell’altro nella nostra vita.
Una coscienza rifondativa dell’idea dell’Io e dei rapporti sociali.
Lo aveva intuito il poeta Gautier, più di un secolo addietro, allorché profetizzò la sua Verità in un semplice aforisma:
“Dio si è riservata la distribuzione di due o tre cose sulla terra sulle quali nulla può l’oro dei potenti: tra queste il genio, la bellezza e la felicità“.
Ricominciare da questa idea è rendersi parte di una nuova primavera sul cui avvento dobbiamo, per necessità, credere…

It is a fact that poetry, in his visions, can forsee things that science only later will discover.
Pheraps Tosca singing “ I loved all” had, in her intuition, a vision of the imminent destiny of mankind.
A million, may be a billion people on this earth, are to experience this uncommon feeling of dishartening.
She, Tosca – in the purity of few notes – had told us already.
Nearing the window and feeling the most deafening of silence, that of the soul.
Gazing intently at the sky in search a foreboding sign in the hope of dissolving in the immensity the tremendous doubt.
Feeling sorrounded by a not so distant enemy, invisible, ferocious.
The sky grown soundless and the astonished look of humanity lost in incomprehensible sorrow
A “Calm Caos“, as described by a brilliant writer of our times.
The feeling of falling – although remaining still – down in a vortex but never utterly falling and a world around us, less and less comprehensible.
The truth is that “Caos” has generated new dynamics and new life
The Universe teaches us with his secret laws hidden by the attentive eye of a powerful God.
What is left then, to a man lost in his confusion?
What is left is the possibility of feeling that new springtimes will come to concel the icy fear of death.
You must believe in spring , you must have faith in new springtimes, in the possibility of traveling again, in the enveloping perfume of life.
“You must believe in spring” was the title of one of the best song by Billy Evans.
The deepest the sorrow for his people’s loss, for the pain of living, for the relentless misfortune, the highest the beauty and the harmony reaching the heavens.
We must believe in springtimes, not only those of a balmy caressing breeze rippling the sea and the overwhelming scent of flowers.
The faith inspiring the new times in which to believe has to be permeated by the newborn consciousness of ourselves and the importance of “the other” in our lives.
A newfound awareness of the idea of the “self” and of the social relations.
More than a century ago, the poet Gautier prophesized his Truth in a simple aphorism: God has kept for himself – above the gold of the powerful of this earth – a few things to choose from, among them: genius, beauthy and happiness.
Starting over from this idea is to become part of a new spring on whose advent we must, by necessity, believe…
