Il polo Universitario della Provincia di Agrigento sta realizzando, nella qualità di Capofila, il progetto “ARCHEOMED” in partnership con l’Università Yarmouk della Giordania, l’Università di Al Quods della Palestina, l’Associazione spagnola Aido e la società Sudgestaid di Roma. L’obiettivo del progetto è la messe in rete attraverso la creazione di una piattaforma digitale dei siti archeologici minori della Provincia di Agrigento, la Giordania, la Palestina e un territorio ben definito della Spagna.
Orbene, in funzione dell’ottimale valorizzazione internazionale del territorio, il processo di individuazione, analisi, e selezione dei singoli siti archeologici minori della Provincia di Agrigento, deve implicare necessariamente il diretto coinvolgimento degli attori locali direttamente, o indirettamente (Istituzioni pubbliche, associazioni culturali, consorzi turistici, ecc.), interessati alla promozione del territorio nell’ottica della fruizione turistica internazionale dei siti archeologici minori da mettere in rete. Questo processo di condivisione delle scelte è, perciò, cruciale in ordine ad un aspetto chiave dello sviluppo del territorio. Per il raggiungimento di tali finalità, si organizzeranno, invero, dei brevi incontri one to one nelle vostre sedi con nostri esperti culturali, seguiti dall’organizzazione di un tavolo tecnico presso il POLO. Ciò allo scopo di conoscere l’interesse degli attori locali, in merito all’ottimale collocazione in rete dei siti archeologici minori della Provincia, ottenendo, così, un prezioso contributo di idee, spunti, riflessioni ed affrontando anche determinate criticità in ordine ali singoli aspetti della valorizzazione dei siti minori.
